Mission and vision of our department; To raise scientists who are sensitive to contemporary problems of the country and the world, who can produce solutions, use communication and educational technologies, establish relationships between different sciences and apply their knowledge to different fields, have high tolerance and self-confidence, and have a sense of dedication to their profession.

The aim of our department is to effectively teach Russian, which is one of the official languages ​​of the united nations and belongs to the East Slavic subgroup of the Slavic Languages ​​group of the Indo-European language family. In addition to the rich language knowledge taught to our students, another goal is to make them well-equipped and knowledgeable in the fields of literature, art and culture. It is also among our aims to raise our students as intellectual individuals in the fields of foreign language and literature.
