Department of Coaching Education is an interdiciplinary field which includes training science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, sports psychology, statistics, technical education, tactical development of sports branches and performance planning studies. The Department of Coaching Education was founded at the 2001-2002 academic year. The mission of the department is to train highly motivated and talented coaches with professional skills needed for success in the 21st Century. The students are offered to study in 11 sports branches according to their field of interest. Track and Field, Badminton, Basketball, Football, Handball, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, Swimming, Archery are the offered fields by experts of our department. Department of Coaching Education curriculum is designed to develop high quality graduates who are trained with theoretical and practical knowledge of scientific methods as well as possess an excellent understanding of coaching.
