Introduction

Needs of the automotive industry technical staff are supplied by electrical, electronic and industrial engineers but it takes time to educate and adapt in industry these engineers. For this reason in automotive industry, directly specialized engineers in the automotive are needed.

Automotive engineering programs gives engineering education at the undergraduate level that supply the needs of automotive sector has opened in the 2009-2010 academic year.

Under the department of mechanical engineering, in automotive engineering program, education will be focus on application and design. The program is the same as basic courses in mechanical engineering undergraduate courses. In addition, students will gain proficiency in the automotive field by taking courses for the automotive branch. Automotive engineering students who have graduated from the program will take “Automotive Engineer” title.
