Mathematics is a process that brings individuals’ abilities coming from infancy into the open and develops them. The purpose of this program is to train mathematics teachers who have no missing parts in content knowledge, who know the necessary teaching methods and techniques in mathematics education very well, and who use all instructional technologies effectively. In accordance with these aims, the vision of this program is to meet qualified mathematics teachers need of the country and to train mathematics teachers who produce knowledge and who has ability to transfer it. Our aim is to graduate our students who are knowledgable and competent trainers. In addition, they should have teaching and learning motivation, share what they know with others, have strong communication ability, and intend to life long learning.
