The Child Development Department was established within Çankırı Karatekin University School of Health in 2011 in accordance with the Law No. 2547, article 7 / d-2 amended by Law No. 2880. The department has been providing education since 2019 within the “Faculty of Health Sciences”, which was established with the decision published in the Official Gazette No. 29792 on 05.08.2016.

Our department was established to train Professional Child Development experts who support all development areas of children between the ages of 0-18, to prepare educational programs and to conduct scientific research. Our field of work is the mental, motor, language, self-care, social and emotional development of children with normal development, special needs, working, refugee, pushed into crime, hospitalized.
