Despite their nourishment from a common culture, historical, political, geographical and sociocultural factors have created some differences in the languages, literature and cultures of the Turkic peoples. The mission of our department is to train scientists and educators who have grasped all aspects of the languages, literatures and cultures of the Turkic peoples, who spread from Central Asia to Eastern Europe, from Siberia to Tibet, from past to present, who have mastered common national and cultural values.
