In the department, courses that will provide basic skills to meet the requirements of the journalism profession and contribute to the intellectual background are taught. We act in accordance with the principle that the courses in the field of communication and journalism are conducted in a theoretical / theoretical and applied / practical manner in a balanced manner. It is aimed that the students will gain the practices and skills that will enable them to become a journalist as well as the lessons that will help them become researchers, academicians and scientists after school. In this respect, the technical infrastructure and laboratories of the faculty are also actively used. In addition to compulsory internships, students are also provided with professional experience through Atatürk İletişim Newspaper, internet environments and social media platforms.
