Aim of the Department
The mission of the Aeronautical Engineering Department is to educate individuals in the design and production existing and new types of aircraft to be developed by the aircraft industry and conducts research and application studies related to aircraft and aviation.
Target of the Department
Aeronautical Engineering; Aircraft, aircraft engine, helicopter, air vehicles and all kinds of manned and unmanned vehicles navigating in the air and space design, production, testing, research and development, maintenance and repair of a department that aims to train engineers. Aeronautical engineering aims to provide engineering skills in aerodynamics, flight dynamics and control, propulsion, avionics, materials science and structural analysis.

Graduates of Aeronatic Engineering; It can be employed in a wide range from defense, aircraft and aerospace industries to automotive industry. Turkey has taken important steps in the aerospace and defense industry in recent years. For this reason, the need for trained personnel in the sector is increasing.
