To be able to produce in the fields of Radio, Television and Cinema, to be able to design the works produced in a format suitable for these tools, to analyze the target audience and to prepare messages suitable for the nature of the vehicles requires professional competence and also creates a great responsibility towards the society. Within the framework of this understanding, our students studying at the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema at Istinye University are raised as individuals who are conscious of professional ethics, who are principled, who have a command of the visual and textual codes of mass media, and reflect their aesthetic point of view in their works.
One of the strengths of Istinye University Radio Cinema and Television Department; It encourages group work as well as individual work. Our students gain experience in many subjects such as teamwork, distribution of tasks within the group, time and stress management, reflection of individual responsibility on group dynamics before entering the sector with the practices they will make. With the contribution of applied training that goes beyond the classroom, they experience a sectoral simulation and create a portfolio for themselves through applications.
The department curriculum prepared based on the interdisciplinary nature of the field; It includes theoretical and practical courses aimed at establishing the theoretical infrastructure that a university student should have and at the same time gaining sectoral technical competence. In addition to the compulsory field courses, our students can specialize and focus on the field they want by taking elective courses accompanied by their academic advisors.
